Thanks for providing this resource! It is so needed. I belong to a connection of people who are fighting for Parental Rights for Fathers. Through my own experience of being married to a man who has been drug through the Family law System but is also very quiet, private, and sometimes prideful, I choose to channel my frustration through an avenue of advocation, awareness, and education known as the DADPR project. Please feel free to check us out. We are small and just beginning our journey but every Father we can touch and support is a blessing. Thanks for your contribution to this community.

A reminder to fathers. Take the time as the weather warms up to spend quality time with your children no
matter what age. Go for a walk, go to the movies, go to an amusement park, go for a long drive and spend a night or two out together.
Engergize your relationship with your children and take the time to talk about what they want to talk about. You will be surprised about what they have to say.

Black fathers are now more in nontraditional roles.
Black men are taking the roles as surrogate fathers in growing numbers. I have been “adopted” by two boys that I pickup and take to school and bring home after school. There grandmother is in poor health and cannot drive. The boys are 8 and 10 with no contact with their natural fathers. The term, It takes a village to raise children has new meaning. My son is in college (19) my daughter is in high school (15), so in a way I’m back at being a father again. A man’s role as a father sometimes extends beyond his biological children. Accepting a renewed
responsibility creates a closer relationship with God and being a blessing to young men.

Families are hurting during this economy causing a lot of emotional and financial stress on the success of our families. Again, we can ensure that we have an opportunity to make residual money but we cannot guarantee your success. That is dependent on personal drive, commitment, and willingness to succeed. Hope to hear from many as this opportunity is on the ground floor.

To You and your family’s success..
